Who Is Behind This, and Why It Matters
My name is Kristina Butler. I'm a career strategist and HR professional with 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, which means I've spent the better part of my career on the other side of the table from the women I now serve.
I know how hiring decisions actually get made. I know what makes a recruiter pause on a profile and what makes them keep scrolling. I know the difference between a candidate who is genuinely underqualified and one who simply hasn't translated her experience in a way the market can recognize. Most of the time, it's the latter.
I also know this from the inside. I'm a single mother who has navigated three layoffs, sat in roles that no longer fit, and had to figure out how to move strategically without the luxury of waiting it out. I hold a Master's in Human Resource Development from Villanova, a certificate in Organizational Development, and dual HR certification — PHR and SHRM-CP. I built this practice because the gap between what I knew as a recruiter and what the women around me needed as job seekers was too wide to ignore.
